Lepidoptera who lunch

Lester and some of his friends went on one of their Last Of The Summer Wine walks plus pub lunch today, so I went to Butterfly World just outside St.Albans. It's very nice there but it was also very windy outside and hopeless for taking photos so I spent a happy time in the tropical butterfly house instead. There are several feeding stations dotted around. These Owl butterflies were the ones making most use of them. They were also the ones that tended to land on people - and stay put for quite a while!
Great picture. Love the title. Nice one.

You have taken some great pictures. So much detail. I love Butterfly World and have visited several times. They sell very good plants too.

Thank you :-)
@anitahoyle These owl butterflies were so laid back I was able to get up close and concentrate the shot on their heads and bodies. I only needed to straighten the shot a touch, and cropped just a tiny bit of superfluous food tray off the bottom.
