Shree Krishna Janmashtami Festival

Lester found details of this festival (which celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna) whilst surfing the net. It was being held at Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford today and yesterday, and we went to it today
These two, who I think were actors, saw me trying to take a photo of them and kindly posed for me.
The festival was extremely well organised and tremendous fun. All the people (mainly volunteers) involved in the running were very helpful, friendly and laid back. There were thousands of people there and we just wandered round enjoying the sights and the friendly atmosphere.
The manor was donated to the Hare Krishna movement in the early 1970s by Beatle George Harrison. The Manor website is here: http://www.bhaktivedantamanor.co.uk/home/
