Please view on magnified. A ladybird and a something else busily feeding on a daisy.
Lester went out for the day today to meet up with some old work colleagues. I had my hair cut this morning and then went to Waterperry Gardens this afternoon. I like Waterperry very much. The gardens aren't massive but they are very well tended, very pretty, and there's lots to see.

Thank you :-)@clairefisher Sorry, I've deleted previous replies owing to poor expression. :-[
My camera does a lot of the technical stuff for me - I'm no technician. It goes into macro mode when I get close up to something. The trick is getting it to focus where I want. I've thrown 16 duff versions of this shot into the recycle bin! Luckily, the bugs hung around for a while.
@dulciknit Just looked up your camera. It looks like a great one. Molly wants to take up photography and would like a DSLR like mine but it would cos too much for her and is a bit bulky to carry around. Would you recommend yours?
@clairefisher Oh, yes! You can use it as a point and shoot or go a bit more technical with it if you want. The zoom's very good for a compact, I believe. I find the camera sits well in the hand for carrying around in readiness for a sudden photo opportunity! :-D I reckon it's very good value for money.
