Got them!

My camera does a lot of the work for me and has autofocus, amongst other things. Autofocus is very good but there are times when we disagree. I spent some time this afternoon trying to get some reasonable focus on just one of the parachutes on the dandelion. The best I could manage was two and I've sharpened the shot a bit . Still fairly pleased with the result.

I've found a setting on my camera that allows me to autofocus, then fine adjust. Now, if I could only work out which way to turn the focusing ring ... ;-)

really nice. I have those days with my camera as well. Sometime I just end up longing for a manual focus - but then I remember I that I would have to actually learn how to use it. :-)
