Dappled

Thank you so much for all your kind comments on Tuesday's photo and for all your good wishes, they were a real help.
I felt quite a bit better yesterday and was able to get this shot of one of our Star Magnolia flowers. It was the light play that caught my eye.
The skies are starting to get cloudy now after our run of beautiful, warm, sunny weather. We could really do with some rain in the south of England. I believe there is a hosepipe ban coming into force shortly.

It a lovely flower and photo of it. I like the use of a small aperture to ensure the whole flower is in focus.
