Power walker

Very many thanks for looking at/commenting on my shots. I'm very grateful to you for your time and support.

Here's a squirrel paused on a power line. There's a lot of squirrels round here and occasionally you see them running along the power cables at a terrific lick. I tried getting a shot of this one when it started running but I couldn't keep up with it.
I did manage to get a shot of it sitting on a branch with a nut tucked under its chin but this view of it tickled me, so I chose it instead.

He does look so pretty from this angle. I thought it ws definitely a 'he', but then decided that I might be looking at a heel :-) I love the light coming through those so fine tail hairs.
