It's been a busy day today, I've been doing all sorts of domestic goddess stuff (aka housework) and hadn't had a chance to take any photos until this evening. One idea has so far proved unfeasible, so this was Plan B.
This glass bowl is usually home to a collection of fir cones (love the textures) but tonight it's hosting these floating candles and flowers.
I couldn't get the candles and flowers to go where I wanted them and then when I uploaded the shot, I realised it would have been better taken with a narrower aperture setting. But after all that domesticity on top of significant lack of sleep I just couldn't face starting over. It's still quite pretty, I think. I will have another go some other time, though.
