Late afternoon snooze

[The time showing is the time I converted the file from one type to another, not when the shot was taken. That happened at 1638hrs today]
This is part of one of the two old apple trees in the garden. It's probably at least 30 years old and is all gnarly and covered in lichen and moss.
There hasn't been a whole lot of time to take photos and process them today but I spent a little time between rain showers taking some shots of the tree. Here's a little snail having a nice snooze in the wet. Good luck to him, he's welcome to it! :-)

Nice find ... a mollusc in the moss! This photpgraphy habit (sorry - hobby"!) makes us look more closely at things we might otherwise not even notice.
