RAF Halton, which is just up the road from us, was staging a sort of Come and Say Hello event on the Manor Waste today. Its pipe band was performing there. This young lady was practising her drumstick twirling while the pipers were tuning up.
The band was very good. It played a wonderful tune called Highland Cathedral which although the title sounds Scottish, was actually written by two German composers. A recording of it by another band can be seen/heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz6fUJu2uW0
Not a great quality recording but the best example Lester was able to find.

I like this one the best as her face is clearly shown. The close up shots really give you the effect of these shots. Lovely shot, such a natural look and happy face.
