This is another of those better on large view ones if you have an extra moment.
After we'd finished looking round the dockyard*, Lester and I went to Whitstable ( a quick 30 miles - 48km drive) for tea and a stroll along the promenade.
The sunlight through the clouds was beautiful.
Whitstable has long been a major oyster fishing area in England and has gone from the sleepy little seaside town I knew as a child to a popular tourist resort with a reputation for excellent fish restaurants.

What a wonderful birth day day you had! I love Whitstable, some marvellous fish restaurants and a great fish market! I love the rays of evening sun you have here, really beautiful.
Beautiful picturesque scene. I love the rays streaming through the clouds and the beautiful lighting. Looks like the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. Hope you had a great birthday!
What a beautiful scene - those light rays are super. Picked the right place to enjoy your birthday. Can't think of anything prettier to be surrounded by then water and lovely clouds. I'm getting a whole different view of England than I once thought through your pictures.
