This is a place I often used to visit as a teenager and it had a profound effect on me. I don't suppose I'll go back there again now, so I was glad of a chance to take some photographs of it.
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.

I haven't been to Chatham for years and have never seen this memorial. I love the way the evening light makes the bronze glow, a beautiful memorial and beautifl capture.
@judithdeacon Thank you, Judith. It sits on the top of the Great Lines, reached by a steep path from the Town Hall gardens (or you can drive up through Brompton). You can see over the Medway and a lot of Chatham if you stand just outside the enclosure.
Just beautiful - the lighting is so special with the bronze light - really makes the memorial stand out. Your picture is so clear you can almost read the names. Wonderful.
