A large view one if you have a moment. Thank you.
Looking away from Pitstone's windmill towards the Chiltern hills.
This is my 20th shot of the windmill, part-windmill or view from its field that I've posted in my project. I've collated the shots under the tag "abpitstone windmill" if anyone's got a minute or two to kill and fancies a look-see.
Thank you for the great response to the sunset shot - it's so kind and very much appreciated, as is all the feedback I'm lucky enough to receive.
Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend.

This is a must for close up, it blows you away. The wheel is such a marvellous foreground feature but still all that great view in focus and great light on it. I would have naturally thought of this as a colour shot when taking it but the b/w makes this so much more detailed. Have yiou used your wide angled lens for this? Fav. I looked at the shots under the tag, a great idea. I think there are many shots, if not all that could be used as a wall collage, would be quite stunning I think.
This is such a wonderful capture, it takes my breath away. The B&W works so well with this. I was struck by the angle of the wheel and axle angling from lower left up slightly to the right and the hills in the background angling in the opposite direction from left down toward the right all capped off by the wonderful cloud formations. If this were mine, I would have to print it and hand it on my wall somewhere. A Fav for sure!
I've used a Canon EOS500D (Rebel T1i ) since Dec. 2012, Connie - it was my Christmas present that year. Before that I had a Panasonic TZ20, a compact camera.
Thanks, you may have told me that before. Just curious because your captures are just so sharp. I really like seeing them. May be the talent of the person behind the camera. :))
The whole collection are amazing too
