I have a small cache of photos that I sort of mull over before deciding whether or not to use them. This is a b&w I made back in early December and finally got it to look the way I wanted on Friday. At least I thought I had until I posted it here, had another dither, took it down, re-cropped and re-posted. I'm a girl, we change our minds. :-)
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Oh yes, the wood grain is fabulous. The chairs look fairly modern and then there's that bit of marble looking solid and old. The chairs make me think of file folder tabs :-)
I love the overall shading - and then the individual shading on each chair back. Marvelous clarity to it all. I don't know how you cropped it before, but this is great.
Don't know what the one looked like that you took down, but really like this one. Between the diagonal line of the chair backs to the lines in the chair grain to the lighting. It is lovely. I agree that the tops of the chair backs particularly when you get to row 5 looks just like the folder tabs in my filing cabinet.
I do like the shading on the chairs very much and the focus all the way back. I agree about the file tabs, they do remind me of them too. The wood grain is well shown and the repeat pattern is great. A simple view but made into a really appealing visual shot.
