The title seems very apt. The two elements together work very effectively to creating a little candid scene. The composition is very nice too, nothing overwhelms the other, I like the worn posters best. Also, it may be my imagination, but it looks like someone has scratched the word 'OLD' in the gate's paintwork. Lots of elements for the eye to wander over.
