Canalberries

I'm beginning to realise I've got a bit of a thing about having big chunks of 'soft' focus stuff going on in a shot. :-D

Thoses red berries are really effective. It the soft focus a camera setting or editing afterwards?

@clairefisher Thank you,Claire. I did it on macro setting and just sharpened the image a little in Picasa afterwards.
I'm continuing to use auto settings for the time being.

I don't blame you. I used mine in auto until I had a one off lesson to teach me how to use the manual setting. Shutter speeds and ISO settings still have me bamboozled though!!

Yes, a shallow depth of field helps to focus the eye on the subject (I think!).
