I am a husband and father of 3 boys living in San Antonio, Texas. I've been interested in photography almost my whole life but not seriously until my first boy was born. I had been getting stagnant with my photography a while back so I started looking for something to kickstart it again. 365project.org seemed like a great way to do that. My first time through the project only lasted a few weeks. Fast forward about two years and I decided that I want to give it another go. To ensure that keep going I have my own rule addition to make it more flexible to me ... I will try to take a photo and post it every day but for days where I can't I will post a photo that I took within the past 7 days. I will indicate which ones were not taken on the current day. So, I will allow myself to go back a week for photos but I will be transparent about it.

Part of the reason for my renewed interest in 365 is that I just bought a new bridge camera to replace my DSLR that is gathering dust. I've just become a lazy photographer. I want something that has it all in one package. The Panasonic FZ200 seems to have fit that bill.

I look forward to sharing my photos and looking at everyday life through the lens of other members.

Update: Ok, I'm going to try again. I keep quitting because of the pressure to upload. No more. I'll just upload when I have something that I feel worthy to share. I just bought a new camera (Fujifilm X30) so that I can take it with me everywhere. Hopefully I will have more opportunities to contribute. I also plan on taking part in more of the competitions and such. More than that, I will try to visit daily just to look at all the wonderful photos that are on this site.
