What a totally rad shot! (or don't skaters say that anymore?) Anyway it has so much potential energy all coiled up and ready to be released. I love it.
Oh, I remember the days of being a skater. However, I was banned from the bowls by the boys... they didn't like a chick taking up the sport in the 1980's. Yep, hard to believe that somebody like me was a skater... I did what was known as free-style skateboarding. I skated on the streets and car parks and had fun with it every weekend when the shopping centres were closed.
I had to give up when I had melanoma removed from my pivot leg ( I was a goofy step - right foot forward, left foot back with most of my weight on it) at the age of 21 1/2. It's been a long time, but I can still skate for up to 20 minutes... my balance and reflexes are still with me at the age of 36... pretty cool, eh?
