Several hundred Santas and other Christmas related dressed people descended on Liverpool Street at lunchtime ... Children all over London devasted as department stores were without their main attraction at the grotto ...

Strangely no-one was dressed as baby Jesus, but we did have a couple of people in spandex ... And woe betide if you were dressed as an elf.
