This is not Peter André. by edpartridge

This is not Peter André.

Wife and eldest went to see Peter André perform in Clacton this evening, at a new venue (Called 'The Venue'). Now I like shooting gigs, so e-mailed his management company to see if I could get a pass ... no response. Mailed 'The Venue' who kindly passed the mail onto the Peter André tour management ... no response ... and Tweeted @MrPeterAndre himself. No response. Sod him then. That said, between them Wife and Eldest took 503 photos on Eldest's camera - 2 of which are vaguely ok ...

So I dropped off Wife and Eldest and then drove into Clacton and spent a couple of hours on a very cold beach, trying long exposure shots. The red dots on the horizon are the wind turbines off the coast of Clacton.

Today's music: Higher Ground - The Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Good shot... and good job today's music wasn't anything by Mr Andre too :-)

Ed,he's a world superstar, why would he deal with us mere mortals :) I find the long exposure a much more interesting shot, especially the wind turbines, make a nice background interest

@johnmnewman I've spent time with a member of Genesis looking at photos I'd taken of him and his band... But obviously Peter Andre is WAY bigger than him!

@andycoleborn I did walk past the Venue whilst waiting to pick up wife and eldest, and could hear hm murdering 'Imagine'... But no, none of his music goes anywhere near my playlists.

2 hours in the cold is much more appealing than listening the Peter Andre. Love the picture, I have never noticed that the turbines were lit at night.

@alanbarlow To be honest, I quite enjoyed my evening! Had the whole beach to myself, and found it quite therapeutic watching the waves whilst the camera did its bulb stuff.

The end of a groyne on the beach. My camera was balanced on it, and because it was a long exposure the sea looks like mist...@jip

great groynes shot - didn't realise the turbines have lights on them...they seem to multiply in number every time I visit!
