Took eldest to see Alamode ( https://www.facebook.com/Alamodebanduk) record their new EP. Interesting to watch them decide on how one element (an acoustic guitar track) would change the feel of a song. Eldest interviewed each member for her GCSE coursework ... I did point out that youngest may be needing the same in 5 years time, so to make room for us on their arena tour.
The photo is of guitarist Rory - taken whilst the acoustic guitar was making its way round the room as each band member tried out an alternative acoustic line.
Then we headed over to the Garrick Theatre to meet our friend Tim ( http://365project.org/edpartridge/365/2011-05-18), but decided on the spur of the moment to watch him as 'Stacee Jaxx' in Rock Of Ages - and we managed to get front row, centre stage tickets! It was almost as if we had a private show, especially when Tim clocked us and performed the closing song to us ... Met Tim afterwards and were introduced to a couple of the cast members, plus picked up the Rock Of Ages T-shirts, mug and badge we wanted.
