Out for the day with the Aged Parents, Brother and Youngest visiting the grave of my Grandparents, followed by a trip to Cromer.
First, the "visit" to the Grandparents, where like previous years they were very quiet. Nice proud Dad moment for me though as Youngest volunteered to help her Granddad scrub and clean the gravestone of his parents. As Youngest and I discussed later when I was putting her to bed, even though Granddad is VERY old and his parents have been gone a long time, he'd still miss them so Youngest wanted to help him.
Then ... onto Cromer for fish and chips (All of us), crabbing (Granddad, Brother, Youngest and I) and a play in the sea (Youngest and I).
Come the apocalypse, don't rely on us for your crabbing requirements ...
Then the incredibly long journey home ... But it was a good day, and one where Youngest was quite frankly brilliant.
