Tonight we took the little guy to get his first haircut (well, I have cut it before, but I'm not really counting that), so of course I took my camera. I had my shot all planned out, and you know what happened? He screamed...the entire time...and hardly any hair was cut...and they didn't charge us.
As a not so fun alternative, I took pictures of tape that the previous owners left on a door that we haven't had time to paint yet. My plan was to create an abstract. I don't like this, but I am tired and have nothing else.

why is it that kids will cry and scream when they go for their first hair cut? i never did understand that. are they scared to sit still? scared of the scissors? scared of the stranger standing so close to them with scissors? your poor lil guys :S
In fact, it looks quite nice. Maybe you can consider turning it into a masterpiece. Got so much potential!! I can understand how M feels. Stranger + scissors = Scary
:( Getting your hair cut for the first time is scary. I don't know if you have these places, but we found one that specializes in kids hair. There is no mirror in front of them, just a tv screen and you can pick the show or movie that they can watch while they get their hair cut. They also get to sit on those old penny rides, like space ships, cars, horses, etc... I think the atmosphere calms them.

This definitely doesn't look like tape. It looks very abstract. Don't be so hard on yourself. It's fun!
