Today, my husband and I worked from home, and each week, we try to come up with any and every activity to occupy our son M. so as to minimize distractions. M. came up with this one all on his own. While downstairs in his room changing his diaper, he grabbed his beanbag chair and started dragging it out of the room. Then, he grabbed the bin where we keep some of his books and tried to pick it up to carry it with him. Even when I told him that Daddy would bring them up, he tried to carry the books. He absolutely would not go back into the office until he knew that his books were coming with him.
