Maybe it is because baby number two will be arriving in just over four weeks or maybe it is because he seems to be growing out of his clothes and shoes daily, but it is really hitting me that my little guy is growing up. He has hit an entire new phase lately and is turning into such a boy. It was unseasonable warm today, so my husband and I took him to the park to play. Within 30 seconds he was soaking wet and covered in mud but that did not stop him from chasing geese, diving on a bench, throwing a ball, bouncing on a see-saw and running everywhere. We all had such a great time!
Happy New Year! it looks like it's gonna be an exciting one in your family!! I get very sentimentla about the boys I'm ninding like that... probably because I remember the little fella when he was 4 days old and now he can spell his name.... you blink and they are suddenly so big
Cute! I know, they gorw up so darn fast. My second little guy always seemed like a toddler from the start because he wanted to do everything his big brother did! Hoping this next little one stays a "baby" a little longer:)

@kammy It is crazy how quickly they grow! People always tells you it flies by but you don't get it until you actually become a parent. @amers79 OMG, I feel huge right now too! It is pretty exciting and so crazy to think that there will be two soon.
They grow up so fast, don't they? Sometimes I look at my son and I'm like, hey, I clearly remember you when I could pick you up in my arms... why are you taller than me now! *LOL* Beautiful shot, there. A great reminder that a wonderful time was had in the park. Take more photos and enjoy every moment!
He is going to seem even MORE grown up once u have that baby and realize just how big he is compared to baby!!! Such a sweet capture and sounds like he had lots of fun!
That is an awesome hat. I remember when my 21 year old was born and how incredible BIG my 24 year old looked right after his birth. It was as though her little brother's birth had immediately aged her! And now 21 years later she's having her own baby in about 3 weeks! (Wish SHE would take some pregnancy shots..grumble grumble.)
