Same here! Fear of confrontation! I need to get better at shooting from the hip; I've been practicing with my iPhone. Some famous street photographers used to use a cable release in their pocket connected to the camera hanging around their neck to get shots undetected. Way to get it done though, good on you!

Very brave! I have the same problem with street photography. But I found it easier, when there are lots of cameras around - in some kind of events, touristic sites etc.

@grizzlysghost - that is a great idea! cable release with camera round your neck, or you could just look ahead and casually press the shutter button too... might give it a try methinks! And gadzooks this photo... I would have been terrified by her reaction if I was behind the lens!
