The boys are still sick and were having a rough morning. I was functioning on very little sleep. So when I got a package this afternoon and had an hour to entertain them before resting time, I figured that it would be fun to let them play construction in the packaging peanuts. Well, tiny pieces + cold weather = statically charged packaging peanuts which literally kept jumping out of the dust pan. M. helped me clean up for a little while and then got bored.
Two positives from the experience though. M. looked really cute with his face, hair and clothes covered in little bits of packaging peanuts, and it did entertain them and get them to stop crying.
A lovely mess but so much fun! I bet they loved moving the stuff in their trucks!! Hope everyone gets better soon. It seems like the bugs are hanging around forever these days!
