While at my parents' house tonight to celebrate my niece's birthday and St Patrick's day, L spiked a temp. He went limp in my mom's arms and was somewhat non-responsive. We gave him some Motrin and a bath which brought his temp down some. My poor little guy. :(
Oh that doesn't sound fun, hang in there! Thanks for asking about my vacation which was great to be away. How about yours? Looked like you had a couple of days at the beach before returning to crazy weather.
Poor L!! Don't want to alarm you but when my son was younger, he would spike temps and have febrile seizures. It's not your typical seizure, he would get non responsive and go limp. Watch him CLOSE!!!! He had 3 or 4 seizures in about a years time. EVERY TIME it was due to a spike in temps!!!
Oh goodness, that sounds awful. I HATE those fever baths. Miserable for the person in them and the one that has to hear the screaming. Hugs to you and your little guy!
that's not good - I remember mine doing this and putting her in tepid baths with an ice lolly to suck on to bring her temperature down, with her it was ear and throat infections - but they also made her sick
