Ahoy me maties!

I was lying on the grass outside the Cape Town Stadium, trying to get a picture of a bird pulling a worm out of the grass, when I heard a call of "Ahoy, me maties". This is what was sailing past. It was an oddly milky morning, with a faint blue hue to the air. I realized that I could hear them because Table Bay was quite still. It all just looked like so much fun. (That's Robben Island in the background. I'd guess that it was a film or commercial shoot in action.)

These old ship amaze me. Makes you think back on how the men lived on these ships so long when they went out to sea.
