I had such an interesting experience today. We had to be at Agter-Paarl at sunrise, and, unusually, I wore my dark glasses on the drive. The hues and colours in the sky were quite magnificent, and when we arrived, just after sunrise, I was drawn to attempting a "self-portrait in shadow" picture with the cows. But when I downloaded the picture, I was so disappointed. The colours I had seen were not there. Then I realised that what I'd seen had been "through rose-coloured glasses". The Polaroid lenses had created a lovely saturation. It draws me to the debate about how much post processing is acceptable. What you see here is what I saw ... but not what was there.

Ohhhhh, I really, really love it. The warm rose-colored glow is stunning. And I am a huge fan of editing to achieve artistic expression. So glad you showed this to us the way you saw it.
