The composition really needs some picturesque sailing boats to break the expanse of the sea ... but the south-easter was clipping over Chapman's Peak today at the rate that ensured that no-one was going out. See the white 'clouds' about the water? That's spray as the wind picked up sheets of water off the ocean.

@megcsim This is Chapman's Peak - Cape Town, South Africa. But I'm not surprised at your question. The coastline from Monterey down to the Big Sur and further down is remarkably similar to ours.
