Wobbly detirmination

The Cycle Tour is on today. Known as "The Argus" (headline sponsors) it's the largest timed cycle race in the world with over 35 000 people riding the 105km (65 miles) around the Cape Peninsula. I stood on Wynberg Hill this morning, watching about half of the competitors come through, and yet again, I was struck by the many shapes and sizes.

The winner completed the course in just over 2 hours 30 minutes. This cyclist will hope to complete in under 7 hours to get an official time and certificate. Three cheers for just doing it!
great capture, like the perspective

Excellent shot Eleanor, I hope to have that same determination depicted here with what lies ahead... :)

Those poor legs, the stories they will have to tell at the end of the day. Always feel so for those who are walking at such an early stage.
