Protea by eleanor

Protea

I went down to St James this morning to try and take a picture of a massive shoal of dolphins off the beach. But they were just too far out for a picture that looked like anything. There were masses of birds drive-bombing the water - clearly a feeding frenzy with a school of fish. As the mass moved into deeper waters and I turned to leave, this protea caught my eye.
nice shot

@hinhoutbay Wasn't there a fire last year? That would explain the increased fynbos this year.
