What? by eleanor

What?

It's not a product I've ever purchased, but the BBQ King Chicken Marinade's 'sales pitch' had me bemused.
Wow I have never seen this before. Nice shot!

What a glorious example of mangled English!! And exactly what year was "...the year of the Springboks" do you think?

@cmt2812 It may be the year the Springboks won the Rugby World Cup for the first time against all odds, 1995. When Nelson Mandela appeared for the final wearing the same No 6 jersey as the captain, Francois Pienaar.

But that's just my guess.

@cmt2812 @karynromeis I'm betting Karyn's right ... but as soon as I've worked out how to use the new cell phone I got today, I'll sms the number on the packaging and ask. I'll leave the 'hottentot' bit to the imagination!

@karynromeis Yes I do remember that game. (and I've seen the movie too!)

Interesting sales pitch, I would be tempted to try it.

Now there's a label! Ingredients have no "E's" in them - fantastic.
