Architects love to frame their buildings

I picked up an interesting comment about photographic composition when there are buildings involved. The comment was to look for the natural framing that the architect saw.

The Zinadel Masjied came to mind for me - situated as it is so perfectly in line with Lion's Head. We usually only see this view fleetingly from a car window, as we drive over the elevated Eastern Boulevard bypass of Cape Town. This time I parked the car down below and walked up the side of the freeway to get the shot.

Update: My project has come to a temporary halt while I wait for our insurers to replace my camera which was stolen from our house. I am itching to restart... the world abounds with stories, waiting to become pictures!
