Billie was having an outdoor party for her son, and realised that it was more chilly than ideal outside. She's been lusting after a trendy brazier, but it's not in the current expenditure cycle.
And then Martin, her husband, had a brainwave.
For some reason he had a random concrete pillar available ... and the recently replaced inner drum of the washing machine.
Now Billie has a swish brazier, and is toasty warm. My feeling: Anyone can use their MasterCard to buy trendy, but it takes real class to have an outdoor fire in your washing machine drum!
