I don't play the game, but do understand it's attraction. I spent three lovely hours on Friday afternoon photographing the field who were playing in a fundraiser. I took my laptop, people chose the pics they liked and I printed them out there and then. It added a good few brass farthings to the fundraiser's coffers.

What a wonderful idea! I'd love to do something like that as a service to a friend or something. Would have to spend some moola on the printer etc. I have only ever printed 2 of my shots, it's crazy actually.
@deens I was amazed to discover that a Canon Selphy, which prints postcard-sized prints, retails for R1000. The consumables (paper and ink) cost R3.70 per picture. It's a dye-sublimation print so the quality is impressive when compared to the cost involved.
