She's a guide at !Khwa ttu, and has spent the morning chatting to me, helping me open my ears to hearing the difference between the languages of !Kung and Khwe. As do most San languages, there are six different click sounds (back palette, cheek, front teeth etc) that add to their 'alphabet', making it far more complex to learn than the simpler languages with which I am familiar.
