Well, I suppose it's actually 4 feet and 8 hooves! But I was really pleased to get a shot with more than one horse, and all the hooves off the deck.
This picture made me smile. I was taking photos of the jockeys and their mounts as they cantered towards the starting gates. The jockey in blue spied my camera, and was quite visible in collecting himself and making sure that he came past just a head ahead of the other horse. But once he'd past, he couldn't resist looking back to see if I'd captured his performance.

@glyn Downloaded about 500, kept 9 :) because it was my first time there I had no idea when to start taking so I totally over-photographed. I'll go back again and again on the quiet days.
I have been meaning to pop down there months now. It's just down the road so I have no excuse. Your shots have inspired me to go sooner rather than later. Incredible clarity you got, really amazing job.
