These are common in Western Australia.They are almost iridescent green (photos don't do them justice.) Friendly, cheeky and common in WA.
Why are they called 28s? The main theory was the French for 28 is "vingt huit" — pronounced vun tweet, which sounded like this bird's call.

@koalagardens You should see the video. After dutifully telling people not to feed them they just dived headfirst into the Devonshire tea and ate ALL the remaining cream and jam. We are so spoilt with birds-they are so beautiful.
