Hurtigruta 120 years

Today it is 120 years since the first Hurtigruta sailed from Trondheim to Hammerfest. Then there was Captain Richard Whit who sailed DS Vesterålen. It took 67 hours to sail from Trondheim to Hammerfest. Today Hurtigruta visits 34 ports and sail from Bergen to Kirkenes. Today it has been marking at the Trondheim harbor with free cake and free concerts. Photo top left is hurtigruta MS Kong Harald leaving Trondheim.
