My first ever kestrel shot, and still my favorite to this day. Though I've taken better, sharper shots of kestrels, this is just such a fond memory for me. I was in my first year on 365, and I spotted him in between appointments on the job. I didn't even know what he was! This tradition of noticing birdies throughout my work day continues and brings me joy, even when I don't have time to photograph them. (I'm a traveling special education teacher, so I drive from site to site.)
