Just a record shot. But isn't it a lovely location for a village fair. You can see that many visitors are wearing wellies. That's because Friday was non-stop rain and the fair was nearly called off! (The ground here is often boggy underfoot) However on the Saturday morning everyone was surprised to see a beautiful day emerge!
The committee will meet over the course of the next month to start organising next year's event!
we missed it as my son wanted to help Dad on the Microbus so we went to Coniston. It is our annual event and I often put entries into the baking section. I must do it next year.
You can’t beat these country shows for scenery, community spirit & friendly competition. Gorgeous views & so glad the sun came out after all that rain.
