A stroll down at Chadwick Lakes locally known as Qliegħa Valley (Wied il-Qliegħa/ Qlejgħa).The small lakes consist of a number of dams constructed by Sir Osbert Chadwick, a British engineer, in the late 19th century.
The rope is one end of a fence which has been recently set up as part of a project co-financed by the European Union that will conserve and protect this valley. I liked how the sun highlighted the twists, the knot and the overall texture of the rope in contrast to the rest of the wood used for the posts. Will probably post further shots from today's walk in this valley.
