Sadiron day 4. The silver plated dish and mug serve as a contrasting prop to the rusty iron. The former were given to my father over the years as thank you gifts by his army recruits. The rusty iron will one day be restored. Hopefully I will rise to the occasion and make it shine:) I believe it has waiting long enough in the garage.
I like the title. My dad (RIP) had a few of those irons. He was a tailor and his ironing was mostly done by irons like that one up to when the electric ones appeared on the market. My sister still has a couple of them as a memory of him.
