Hands on learning

Today's post online lesson touched on light, shadows and reflections. It all started with a make-shift tent that my granddaughter's teacher wanted them to set up. Most of the online lesson was done inside the tent and I must say it was a cool idea, at least for the children. I had arranged the basic covers of the tent but she furnished it with cushions and a flower. Needless to say a tent without a torch light is no complete fun. So as soon as school was out she had the curtains drawn and wanted me to capture a few light and flower arrangements. This is one of them. She exclamation, "Look nannu how beautiful!" After a while her younger sister joined in the fun and I got a set of different pictures. One of them is shown in the second album.
How fun that she is also learning from you about beauty and nature.

@milaniet thanks for your comment. I love pointing out beauty to her. I believe that beauty is one of many ways to encounter God.

@olivetreeann Thanks for your comment Ann. I think she will be. She has a very good eye and her spatial ability is developing in a wonderful way. Sometimes she really surprises us with her drawings and photos taken on her mother's mobile.
