half half ceramics by elza

half half ceramics

Thursday's half and half. Being pressed for today's photo the curves of two ceramic bowls on the kitchen window sill caught my attention. As Leonard @lledyob commented yesterday, "There is a picture in everything. You just have to see it..." Although I am not sure if this is the best picture I could have taken.
I think a square format would have accentuated the curved half and half as well. I like it as it's a different approach to the challenge. If you wanted to leave it in rectangular form, I'd come down past the dark triangle in the upper left and come up a little bit from the bottom for balance. Good shot!

Hi Leli! Thank for following my project and I'm excited to follow you and your journey. I really like the diversity of your images. Your creativity and technical acumen really shine through! Thanks also for your wonderful narratives on your photos, they really let us connect with your image. You've inspired me, I shall give better explanations and stories to my images. This site is supposed to be a journal site, and one should share the photographic experience. Shooting the shot is just one layer of photography, I think.

@olivetreeann Ann thank you so much for taking the time to comment and to help me improve my photos. This is something that I was looking forward to when I joined 365. I worked a little bit more on the photo and put it up in my second album.

@theredcamera Thank you so much for your comments. I'm glad to follow your journey as well and I totally agree with you that knowing a little bit about the background of an image gives it that tiny edge of depth.
