After a couple of errands, this morning I tried to move out of my comfort zone and get a few street photos. In this photo I liked the man's shadow as he reached high to plaster the wall. Two men were working on this old house in the village core. The stone bricks at the top show the stone dresser's hand before machines were introduced in the 1930's. This is the back of the house so the stone is not highly finished. The dents on the stone in the lower floor were probably made for the plaster to get a better hold or to make the facade look old. The trend of chipping away at stone to make it look old was made illegal a few years back.
