I did not bother downloading today's photos from the camera to the laptop. Maybe if I look at he photos tomorrow I might get second thoughts. In the meantime I went back a couple of days from my walk in Imdina. In this picture I liked the shadows created by the internal light of the booth. This is a pre 1964 phone box with slight upgrading from pay phone to cardphone.
It's either from Dr Who with slight changes or if you prefer from Harry Potter; here's some info I got from wiki:
The British Ministry of Magic Headquarters uses a phone box as its visitor's entrance. The booth transports visitors from ground level to the Atrium on floor B8. To activate the entrance, one dials 62442 (spelling "magic") on the telephone.
@ankers70@summerfield@milaniet@taffy@helenam Thank you so much for the comments. @summerfield I didn't look inside to see if the phone was on the floor. There's the wire hanging but ... I guess you can use the box with your mobile Hahaha... and as for the Dr Who thing. You are so right. The TARDIS was always blue except for once when it was pink. I didn't know what a Police box was used for. I always thought it was just another phone booth and I always imagined it red in the black and white series.
Your words are wonderful and your photo ‘says it all’
Truly beautiful warm colours - great photo
