Today was the last day for the finishing touches on the refurbishing of the x-room (still no title and purpose; though we are getting a lot of suggestions... keep fit area from my son...). Smoothed down the plaster and cleaned the room of the resulting fine dust. It's now ready for the paint job on Monday. Also scrubbed clean the grill from yesterday's bbq and that is ready for the next one and I hope it will be soon. I just love having all my kids together to share our summer nights. In the evening I led the congregation in song in spite of the vocal chords being soar from the morning dust.
Continuing from the Mdina festival I just could not resist the colourful shoes of the fiddler. It was a case of old meeting new as the performers were all wired up to amplifiers despite the medieval costumes.
