Went for a short walk as I couldn't stand being cooped up indoors any more. I had decided to go to Valletta to capture some carnival colour but common sense prevailed and instead opted for a mid-day (warmer) short walk to Ta' Qali and avoided crowds.
I captured this anomaly of the plate-like sections of the stem which morphs into the fruit.
